Payroll Support Change Company Business Name and Address Information Article ID: 1010573 Overview You can change your business address and company name information in QuickBooks. Details Your company name and address appear on printed invoices, checks, and other forms, and the company legal name and address�are used on Forms 1099 (in Pro, Premier, and Enterprise only), 940, 941, W-2, and W-3. To edit your company legal�name and address: From the QuickBooks Company menu (or�File in Simple Start 2008), choose Company Information. Ensure the�Legal Information section is correct. Click OK. Note: If you have direct deposit (or have had it in the past), you may change your legal address by updating your Account Maintenance page: In QuickBooks Pro and Premier: From the Payroll Center, click My Payroll Service, or from the QuickBooks Employees menu, click My Payroll Service, and select the appropriate menu option. On the Update Payroll Account Information screen, click Edit. On the landing page, click Continue. To log in, enter your payroll PIN number,�click Continue. Click Continue until you reach the information you would like to edit.
