SubAccount Creation in QuickBooks

Subaccounts let you track several related types of income or expenses independently yet keep them all under the "umbrella" of a single parent account.
Details
To create a subaccount in QuickBooks:
- From the QuickBooks Lists menu, choose Chart of Accounts, or press CTRL + A on your keyboard.
- Click the Account button, and then choose New.
- In the Type field, select the appropriate account type.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the subaccount.
- Select the Subaccount of checkbox.
- From the Subaccount of drop-down list, choose the parent account.
- Click OK.
