Payroll Support Unexpected Results When Importing Chart of Accounts to Customer File Article ID: 1009351 Details This issue has been resolved in the latest release for your version. Please update your program to the most current release. Chart of Accounts warning message states action not allowed, but the action is permitted anyway: Explanation: Using an Accountant Copy file, changing an account into a subaccount was presenting a message, This is an Accountant Copy of the company data. To prevent conflicts with your client, the current action is not allowed. After clicking OK on the message, the account becomes a subaccount. Account entered with duplicate account number causes import failure: Explanation: In this instance, the entire Accountant copy import fails instead of warning the client of the duplicate account number. In this case,�the Accountant copy must be redone. Chart of Accounts - Extra characters are added to the Account Number in View Changes: Explanation: In the Accountant Copy, when editing account numbers, QuickBooks is adding extra characters to the Account Number when looking at View Changes.
