Form 943 and 943 Tax Liability Payments
When you try to set up a payment schedule for Form 943, you find you can't do so. Also you find that E-file and E-pay are not available for Form 943 and the 943 taxes.
You will create your own custom liability payment or set up a scheduled payment.
You have an active Enhanced, Standard, Basic payroll subscription.
Liability payments for the 943 taxes can be recorded in QuickBooks by setting up a payment schedule for the 941 taxes. If you use this option, the liability check reason is: Federal 941 Tax Deposit. Alternatively, you can create your own custom liability payment.
To create your own custom liability payment:
Choose Employees > Payroll Taxes and Liabilities > Create Custom Liability Payments.
In the Select Date Range for Liabilities window, enter the date range for the tax liability payment and click OK.
In the Pay Liabilities window, select the tax liabilities you want to pay and click Create.
