Subscribe to Intuit Payroll services using QuickBooks
To help ensure compliance with changing payroll tax withholding regulations, we strongly recommend that you maintain an active QuickBooks Payroll subscription. If you do not maintain an active QuickBooks Payroll subscription you cannot install and use payroll updates. This safeguard helps to ensure you are not using outdated tax tables and forms. We recommend that you keep an active payroll subscription at all times to receive updates as payroll regulation changes occur throughout the year.
To subscribe to QuickBooks Basic, Enhanced, or Assisted Payroll
In QuickBooks Pro or Premier:
- Choose Employees > Payroll > Order Payroll Service.
- Select New Payroll Subscription, and click OK.
- Decide which payroll service you want, and click Buy Now.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sign-up process.
If you wish to switch to a different Quickbooks payroll service, go to Employees > Add/Change Payroll Service.
