How do I access Intuit Online Payroll from Google Apps?
Login to your Google Apps account and click on the "More" link in the Google Universal Navigation Bar (see graphic) and then click on Intuit Online Payroll. You will be asked to enter your user name and password and then be directed to Intuit Online Payroll.
Now that Intuit Online Payroll is installed, how do I run payroll?
From your Google Apps account, click on the Intuit Online Payroll link from the Google Universal Navigation Bar to connect with Intuit Online Payroll. To run payroll you will need to set up your Intuit Online Payroll account. This will require inputting information about your company, your employees, and your company's tax information.
Can my employees use their personal email to access
their pay stubs?
No. To access their pay stubs, employees must use their email provided by the Google Apps administer with the company domain.
What will my employees be able to access when they click
on the Intuit Online Payroll link in the Google
Universal Navigation bar?
Intuit Online Payroll for Google Apps will be available to your employees as it is for you, via the Google Universal Navigation bar. Intuit Online Payroll will recognize the user as an employee and will enable him/her to view his/her pay stubs when he/she clicks on the Intuit Online Payroll link from the Google Universal Navigation Bar. Employees will not be able to access your payroll account. If the administrator of Intuit Online Payroll for Google Apps account has not enabled employees to view their pay stubs, they will be presented with the following message:
How do I turn IOP off / or for my employees?
If you have already set up the employee, go to the Employees tab and click on the employee's name, go to Employee Site Access, click on edit, and unmark the box Access to Paycheck Records.
